It has always been difficult to provide real-world real-time indication of the blast and fragmentation effects of a bomb. Technology now allows us to emulate the effects in a safe manner. This is relevant to all those responsible for providing advice, managing security and emergencies.

Don Williams is a Certified Protection Professional. He is a member of ASIS-International, the Institute of Explosive Engineers, the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (Distinguished Life Member), and the International Association of Protective Structures. He has authored over 130 publications including “Bomb Safety and Security, the Manager’s Guide”. He was awarded the Australian Security Medal by his peers for services to the profession and the Olympic Certificate of Merit for his work as the Bomb Risk Manager for the 2000 Games.
